At GeoSites, we make the planning part of exploring simpler, so that you can spend more time seeing the world and less time scrolling through websites.
GeoSites brings you a streamlined map that shows you the historic sites located right around you. We have sifted through millions of data points to bring you accurate descriptions and information, so that you have a curated list of "must see" and "hidden gems" right around you.
When you use GeoSites, our app will show you the historical sites that you are near. The app shows a picture, the type of site, year built, location, and site description so that you can choose quickly to go or not to go. This way, you'll be able to discover what is right near you that you would never have known about, and leave with meaningful memories.
Importantly, we believe that discovery can happen wherever you live or travel to, so we designed our platform to work for tourists and locals alike.

GeoSites is currently building a convenient platform for users based on research and consumer feedback.
Currently, we are building out our database of sites. We have regular crowd-sourcing contests (which we will announce on this website) where you can tell us about your favorite sites where you grew up, currently live, or have visited.
